Allergy season RELIEF
Spring means flower buds and blooming trees — and if you're one of the millions of people who have seasonal allergies, it also means sneezing, congestion, a runny nose and other bothersome symptoms.
Seasonal allergies — also called hay fever and allergic rhinitis — can make you miserable. For us New Englanders the months of April and May get really bad and to no surprise people’s grocery carts will have an over the counter remedy for support and relief. Even the summer months and the month of September can trigger allergy flare ups in many people.
Over-the-counter medications can be quite helpful when it comes to dealing with pollen and seasonal allergies, but many people find that the side effects and drowsiness that come with OTC antihistamines are almost as bad as the allergy systems themselves. No one wants to spend most of the year having to constantly take medication to get through the day, especially when that medication doesn’t work as well because it’s built up in your system. While there is no 100% no-side-effect cure for allergy season, there are natural ways to provide relief to combat and support allergens during these high pollen count months.
We have experienced 1st hand the effects of allergies in our family, just ask my husband. Come May, he literally sounds like a different person because he get so congested and his eyes itch. Every year he would purchase over-the counter remedies to only get frustrated that it was providing little relief. So one early April day, as a good wife that I am (wink), I stepped in.
He was appreciative and amazed, and ever since then he has been consistently taking his allergy season protocol annually. Just like I did for my husband, we will work together in making an allergy season protocol specific to your needs.
